Tea Party Patriots Bullshit →
Wo-ow!!! This is some bullshit right here— not just this little article but their whole site/concept. I am so amused but annoyed at the same time that my brain is confused and wants me to promise never to visit that site again. Movement?! These are WINS? There’s so much more crap to ridicule that I just won’t.

FINE, let me brighten up your Monday with a song recommendation. Check out That’s How We Do It by Grand Puba. Listened to that song all last week…. It samples Boogie Shoes by KC & the Sunshine Band, another one of my favorites. Now, back to the paper chase.

Coachella →
sounds good to me. If I had nothing to do for 3 days and a need to blow 3 bills, I’d def. go. Either bc I already love them or bc I heard they’re GREAT live, I’d be excited for Jay Z, She & Him, La Roux, Muse, De La Soul (fave!).. among many. (And also becase he has spectacularly questionable ads in SF, DJ Tiesto. haha)

Yudof / Birgeneau / Roy →
Features one of my favorite professors from undergrad, Ananya Roy. I don’t like how the writer portrays her at times, trying to be perceptive but forcing/faking it. I feel like I’m missing out on some revolutionary stuff up in Berkeley, but I suppose I’m lucky that I got all my schooling in before this whole budget crisis affected public education. I’m not saying that I...
